I’m excited to share all the gorgeous flowers that are blooming now!! Wrapped bouquets and bud vases are perfect for teacher appreciation this week, and we’ll have so many beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day! It’s easy to stop by Nothing New in downtown Concord to pick up flowers that are stocked each day (165 Brumley Ave. NE, Concord, NC 28025)—no prior reservations needed!
If you want to be sure to get a nice, big vase of flowers, message me or call or email! I’ll make up something that will suit you, starting at $45. I’ll also have vase arrangements made up and ready without prior reservation Thursday - Saturday, including some in vintage milk glass com compotes. On Saturday morning, the farm will be open for you to pick flowers from 9 AM - 1 PM! Fill a jar for $25 or shop our peony bundles (some from @littlefarm_midland !) We’ll also have my favorite gardening tools, seeds, and heirloom tomato starts for great gardening gifts (the kind I would give to myself😄).

Saturday is the day! We will open from 9 AM -1 PM for you to pick flowers here at the farm. It’s mostly all about 🌷tulips🌷 right now, along with some gorgeous anemones and old fashioned pansies and violas. Fill a wide mouth mason jar for $25 or a small mouth jar for $15. I provide the jars for you to fill & take home, and the snips for you to use while you’re cutting. Though we’re open every Saturday this month, tomorrow is probably your best day for tulips and I am also thrilled to say that we will have ranunculus bundles from @littlefarm_midland !! She’s been babying these tricky plants all winter long, and the blooms are beautiful. I’ll have some plants for sale, extra bundles of tulips, and my favorite gardening tools available too. Share with your flower loving friends! Paperwhites! I’ve been growing them for years, but have never dedicated a post to them. These narcissus (daffodil family) bulbs will bloom inside, not needing the winter chill. They prefer a bright, cool spot, and can get pretty lanky when grown in a warm area. No matter! Just enjoy their wild, free stalks full of fragrant blooms. Different varieties have different scents. Some are very sweetly scented, like “wintersun”-shown in the last picture. Some grow paperwhites in gravel, but if you grow them in soil, you can plant them out into the yard when they are finished blooming. Mine rebloom most years, sometimes mid winter if we have a warm snap (not this year 🥶). I have pots of these @nothingnewobv wrapped up and ready to bloom in your home over the next couple of weeks. #curiosityfarmflowers #nothingnewobv #paperwhites #concordnc #vintage #winterflowers
